Hazing from Hell

The Blooding Championship for every new Champion in the Village.
From the portals deep, they rise and waken Every cycle more foresaken; The Queen stays searching for the greats, For only some does fame await. So she pens a Royal decree, And with it offers a mighty fee; Every cycle, she wants to crown A winning Champion of world renown.

What is the Hazing from Hell?

The Hazing from Hell Championship (HH), otherwise known as the Double H, is designed for newly Summoned Halfblood Champions. While they may vary slightly in structure, HHs will be held alongside very Summoning Cycle, as a way to inject funds straight back in to the Community. The prizepool for each HH will depend on the size of the Summoning Cycle, but will be at least $500USD, and sometimes much more.
Only Champions who were Summoned in the corresponding Summoning Cycle will be eligible for the HH. The HH is a great way to quickly Blood and test out new Champions, and have some fun introducing them to the brutality of life as a TRV Champion!
BONUS: Every Champion eligible for the HH (ie. Halfbloods only) who has 2 or less strikes AND completes 10 tournaments during the HH Qualifying period will receive 250 bonus Wisdom Points.

Format

  • Eligibility: Only newly Summoned Champions (Halfbloods) are eligible for the HH. This means Champions Summoned in the currently running Summoning Cycle. Purebloods are not eligible.
  • Quantity of Tournaments: Your Champion will be judged by its best eight (8) Tournaments in a row during the HH. A maximum of 35 Tournaments can be completed per Champion; the eight-streak will be drawn from these 35 Tournaments.
    • Champions may continue to compete after their 35 Tournaments are completed, however these results will not be counted towards the Leaderboard.
    • To keep the Championship fair and stop Battlemasters from blocking each other, strikes and rules still apply to Champions after the 35 Tournaments are completed
  • Types of Tournaments: Only classic 8 Player Tournaments are eligible, including Bloodbath
    • Reverse payouts, alternate payouts, double-ups, win-rate, class-specific and conditionals, and 1v1s are not eligible
  • Bonus Points: Bonus points are awarded for entering Paid Tournaments, as shown below
  • Champions must compete eight eligible Tournaments to qualify, to a maximum of 35 Tournaments
  • Champions may continue to compete in eligible Tournaments after they have completed their qualifying Tournaments, but these will not be counted on the Leaderboard

Bonus Prizes

There are prizes for the top ranked (newly Summoned) Elo Champions at the end of the HH. These Champions must be eligible for the HH (no existing Champions).
