Battle Classes, Training Camps, Tournaments

Season Battle Classes

As part of Seasons, the classic FIVE Battle Classes (Bloodbath, Outlaw, Heroic, Legendary, Immortal) will be reduced to FOUR (Heroic, Legendary, and Immortal, Bloodbath) in both Seasons and regular Tournaments.

Battle Classes will be split by Elo according to the total (non-Seasonal) population (50/40/10).

Seasons-specific Tournaments & Training Camps

Competing in a Season

There will be both Season-specific and regular Tournaments running constantly in the Village.

Champions with a Season Pass have a normal Elo score and a Seasons-specific Elo score. All Champions begin their Season with 1800 Elo. If they compete in Season Tournaments then they use their Season-specific Elo and their Season-specific Fighting Trait (FT) Boost.

  • A Trait Boost covers both gains made from Training Camps, and Season-specific cosmetic boosts.

Season Fighting Traits (FTs)

Cosmetic Boosts

Every Season gives boosts to FTs for particular cosmetic Traits. We tell players what the cosmetic Traits are but we don’t share the extent of those boosts. Each specific cosmetic feature that a particular Champion possesses will cumulatively boost their FTs.

For example, if the Season preferences Champions with Blood Armour, no warpaint, and Auburn hair, and your Champion has all three, the boost would be greater than if it just had Blood Armour.

Additional Preference

Currently Champions have one preference, their Stance. We will be introducing a second preference in Seasons. The preference for each Champion will change every Season, meaning it is Season-specific. The item which they prefer will also change. In Season Zero, the item will be an Amulet. Players will get a boost for choosing the right stance and an additional boost for choosing the right Amulet.

Training Camps: Free and Paid

Players with a Season Pass can join on-demand Tournaments labeled ‘Training Camps’. Each Training Camp takes an undefined amount of time to complete/run (the time will change for each individual Camp). Training Camps are Bloodbaths - they are not based on Battle Classes.

  • Champions cannot enter a Training Camp and a Juicer at the same time - meaning players need to decide whether to enter a Training Camp and risk missing a Juicer if it appears.

  • To enter a Training Camp players will have had to compete in a minimum number of Tournaments within a set amount of time immediately beforehand, either in Seasons or in normal gameplay.

  • After the Camp your Champion may get a boost to one of its Season-specific FTs.

  • Champions with lower Fighting Traits will obtain greater benefit from training, but the benefits become smaller over time for all Champions.

  • There will also be Paid Training Camps - these will run as soon as they are filled, with no delay, meaning Champions will not risk missing out on Juicers when they appear.

    • Paid Training Camps will have a 30% Tournament fee, which will be moved into the Juicers.
