How to Enter a 1v1
Entering a 1v1 is very similar to entering a Tournament. Here follow a set of step-by-step instructions!
Before anything else, be aware we have introduced a notifcation button at the top right of the website - here is where you'll be alerted of incoming Challenges, and when players have accepted your outgoing Challenges; when matches are about to start, and of the results of matches that have finished. Keep an eye on it!
Firstly, you'll want to find a Champion that you'd like to Challenge. Using the drop-down menu, you can either search by individual Champions, or by Barracks - whatever suits.
Once you've done that, you'll want to Challenge the individual Champion to a fight, by clicking the Challenge button under their feet.
From here, you'll be asked to choose who you would like to enter the challenge with, choose a fighting style, and then set the
Rounds (1, 3, or 5)
Location (Any of the current Tournament maps)
Start time (when you would like the fight to begin)
Expiry time (when the offer will expire if not accepted/declined)
and, if you would like to Play-For-Keeps
If you choose to Play-For-Keeps, you will be shown a warning screen. You have to actively accept this acknowledgement to continue. There is no refund for a change of mind if you lose a Play-For-Keeps match.
After this, you will be asked to accept several Metamask transactions (between 2 and 4 separate transactions, depending on what you've selected). These allow your wallet to be deducted your entry fee, give permission to take your NFT (if you are playing-for-keeps), and approve the entry transaction fee.
From here, head back to the To-The-Death game screen, using the bar at the top of the website.
You'll then be able to see all the challenges you've sent and received in your My Offers list, underneath the game window.
