Glossary
Bloodgiver - The Champion providing Blood to the open market. This is the Champion that is offering their Blood up for Summoning with.
Bloodtaker - This is the Champion that takes the Bloodgivers Blood and combines this with their own Blood to perform the Summoning. The owner of this Champion will end up receiving the Summoned Champion.
Blood Strength - This is the sum of the Genetic Traits - Genetic Strength and Trait Strength. The Blood Strength determines the likelihood that a Champion will pass on its Cosmetic or Fighting Traits.
Child - A Summoned Champion whose Parents are the Bloodtaker and Bloodgiver.
Genetic Strength - This is the likelihood of passing on Cosmetic of Fighting Traits from an ancestor (Grandparent, Great Grandparent etc) as opposed to from a Parent of a Summoned Champion.
Genotype = This is the Champions Rnumber. Purebloods are R1 to R12, Halfbloods are R13 to R99 and Soulless are R99+. When a Champion is Soulless, their Genotype value becomes - Genotype: Unidentifiable.
Grandparent - The Bloodtaker and Bloodgiver for the Parent of a Summoned Champion. Please note a Pureblood Champion does not have any Grandparents. Any Half Blood with a Rnumber less than 25 will not have Grandparents.
Parent - For a summoned Champion their Parents are their Bloodtaker and Bloodgiver. Please note a Pureblood Champion does not have any Parents.
Private Summon – This is when both Champions come from your own Barracks, to Summon with without being placed into the Summoner’s Spellbook. This counts as a Private Summon for both Champions.
Public Summon – This is when a Champion is used to Summon with from the Summoner’s Spellbook. This counts as a Public summon for both Champions.
Public yet Private Summon - This is when a Champion is used to Summon with from the Summoner's Spellbook, but where the Champion in the Spellbook also belongs to your Barracks. This counts as a Public summon for both Champions.
Summoned Champion. The summoned Champion always ends up in the same wallet as the Bloodtaker.
Summon/Summoning - The act of combining the Blood of two Champions to mint a new Summoned Champion.
Summoner’s Spellbook - This is the public listing of Champions that are willing to be Bloodgivers, for a fee of course. This allows other Barracks to Summon with them.
Soulless - a Summoned Champion who’s Rnumber is 100 or greater.
Traits - These are the embedded immutable characteristics of a Champion. They do not change. The known Traits are split into 3 different types: Cosmetic, Fighting and Genetic.
Trait Strength - This is the likelihood of passing on a Cosmetic or Fighting Trait direct from the Parent of a Summon Champion.
